‘Little Rebel’ is a re-worked masterpiece, turning a lively pop rock, keyboard-driven number into a touching, melancholy piece, mixing old-time hard rock with a contemporary sound, as alive and vibrant as ever.

Like a phoenix, Fatal Vision was reborn from the ashes in 2021, after a 30-year hiatus: the band was born in those magical days when hard rock in the US dominated MTV and every arena from coast to coast. Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, singer Simon Marwood and his bandmates combined their love for bands like Asia, Journey, Europe, Survivor and Van Halen with a fresher, more modern melodic rock.

But life can bring unexpected changes and Fatal Vision stopped right at that golden moment.

In 2019, Marwood dusted off his many notebooks from decades past and with the blessing of the original members, the Fatal Vision machine suddenly roared again. With exceptional musicians Andrew Burns (bass), a veteran sub-frequency specialist; Juan Miguel Gomez Montant (guitars), a renowned producer, audio engineer and guitarist; Deniz Lim-Sersan (keyboards), a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist and producer; and Alex Wickham (drums), an A-list performer, Fatal Vision returned as a band with the skills and knowledge to finally release their musical vision.

Their first two albums had an immediate impact on the charts: released by leading hard rock label Pride & Joy Music, ‘Once’ (2022) reached number 10 on the Japanese import CD chart, as well as several Apple album charts, with each single also appearing in the rock charts in several countries, and ‘Twice’ (2023), shot straight to the top of the Apple rock charts in Canada and Hungary on its release date.

In the cauldron of activity, there are also over twenty videos with tens of thousands of views each, and the imminent release of ‘Three Times Lucky’ (2024), all three records have featured contributions from some hard rock heavyweights, including Lenny Castro (Toto), Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Jorn), Derry Grehan (Honeymoon Suite), Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), Mark Holden (Boulevard), JK Northrup (King Kobra, XYZ), Marc Lafrance (Loverboy, Mötley Crüe), Paul Laine (Danger Danger, The Defiants), Michael Shotton (Von Groove) and Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Talisman), with production assistance from Del Vecchio, Harry Hess (Harem Scarem) and Ron Nevison (Heart, KISS, Survivor).
