Swedish band Remedy, after the great success of the debut album “Something That Your Eyes Won’t see”, released by S-Rock Music Production, announce their new music video, done for the amazing opener track “Living On The Edge”, out on October 9, 2023.
After almost 10 months from “Something That Your Eyes Won’t See”, the band, who received excellent feedback from all the specialized media around the World, will release the video as a present for the numerous fans who followed them in their super successful tour done during this year.
In addition, after the multiple fan requests, the LP reissue of “Something That Your Eyes Won’t See”, which went sold out months ago, will be released via S-Rock Music Production, in limited edition black vinyl, on November 24, 2023.
Preorders will start from October 9, 2023.
“Remedy’s first year has been absolutely amazing. I mean, we sold out our album. Twice! And made it to album charts in Sweden, trailing only Ghost for the #1 spot on the vinyl chart in May. We can hardly believe it! And also the summer tour was a blast. Getting to play at all those big venues all around Sweden. Absolutely unbelievable. We are now set to release some new music and we can’t wait to see what the future holds”, guitar player Roland Forsman states about this moment.
The origin of the band Remedy goes back during the 2020, in the middle of covid-19, when the guys lost all their session jobs as touring musicians. Roland “Rolli” Forsman contacted his friend Sören Kronqvist, another excellent songwriter, to write few songs inspired by Hard Rock artists of 80s and 90s. They ended up with a bunch of really good songs that decided to record with the singer Robert van der Zwan. Rolli played all the guitars, Georg Härnsten Egg (Dynazty, Paralydium, Joe Lynn Turner) on drums and Andreas Passmark (W.E.T, Royal Hunt, Narnia) on bass. The band also called their friend Lars Säfsund (Work of Art) to get an extra boost with the vocal recordings. Jonas Öijvall (Tiamat, Jimi Jamison) recorded keyboards and Niclas Eriksson added percussion. The album is mixed and mastered by Erik Martensson (Eclipse) at Mass Destruction Production.
The band will play live on November 25, 2023 at Sandviken (Sweden) and in July 2024 at Malmö Melodic Festival.
Remedy are now writing an incredible new album due in Spring 2024 and they are also working on something new which will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
